June 1, 2010. So for those of you who work a 7-6, M-F work schedule, I know how you feel. It sucks. Today was the exception…Tuesday. It feels so good to start your work week on a Tuesday. January 25, 2011. We had our 18 week ultrasound appointment yesterday (4-weeks ago due to late post) and it appears that everything is moving along swimmingly! We had the grandparents in for the appointment and they seemed ecstatic about being there. How crazy is it to know that your wife is carrying a child, well more like an alien at present, in her belly. I can’t believe that in 5 months we are going to be parents. July 29, 2010. It’s been awhile since I last posted, but I am back – a little wiser too, I might add. My 30th birthday was yesterday and like any other milestone birthday (13, 16, 18, 21, 25, 30, etc) I was awaiting a drastic overnight change. But alas, there was none. I thought I would wake up with a profound new outlook on life, or with an achy back, or with a fourth cat (yes we adopted a third cat). I am excited at what the next decade has to in store for me! Living the Dream….or Something. September 12, 2010. Posted by barefootchickadees under Family Fun. South of the Mason-Dixon. Another trip to Tennessee! We took the scenic route both up and back and it was FANTASTIC. One of my SIL’s thought that sounded terrible, and the other said it sounded like a great time. Guess I know who I WON’T be taking a car trip with, hmm? We were way too hungover to be participating in sunrise photo shoots, but I’m so glad we did! Check them out here. Fabulous trip, for sure.
