http://amberjde.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 15, 2006. I am unemplyed again. It is wonderful except that my bills keep pilling up and at some point I am going to run out of food. If it wasn't for these two things I could be happy forever. I quit my job is anger. This is the first time I have ever done that. I just felt really taken advantage of and so I lost it an quit. I didn't even give notice. Posted by Amber @ 1:37 PM. Seattle, Washington, United States. View my complete profile. Long Time No Blog. Happy Birthday to Me.

Tuesday, August 30, 2005. Today was an ok day. I participated in a research study this morning. It was kind of a whirlwind but I got paid and am helping to further science! Than I came home and had a great rest of the day wasting my time. Erin and I walked to the store and back which is always nice. Walking is a very underrated experience. It's always so relaxing. I had a pretty nice weekend and spent too much time watching movies. Hello. my name is Amber and I am addicted to movies. Sunday, August 14, 2...

Rogue Writing: NaNoWriMo - I Did It!
http://roguewriting.blogspot.com/2009/11/nanowrimo-i-did-it.html
NaNoWriMo - I Did It! I reached and exceeded my word count for NaNoWriMo! I hit the 51,612th word this afternoon, one day before the end of November. I am now left with a thinly fictionalized memoir that is in deep need of multiple revisions, followed by excessive proofing. All in all, NaNoWriMo left me with the following lessons:. It's always best to write from the cuff if you hope to meet a predetermined word count goal by the time the deadline rolls around. For now, there's an erotic fiction writing c...

Rogue Writing: Brontë - Is It "tee" or "tay"?

As a writer, this gives me an unparallel opportunity to do the one thing that all writers should do aplenty: Read, read, read. When I proof a book, it's my job to not only ensure that words are pronounced correctly, but to back up the narrator's pronunciation if an alternative exists. They all pronounced it as "bron - tee.". I could move on. As it turns out, "Brontë" may be pronounced as either ...
