I Made This Out of Cardboard: July 2008
http://mattcowlrick.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
I Made This Out of Cardboard. Monday, July 21, 2008. Here we have two significant milestones in my world – Taking a potentially life-altering overseas trip for who knows how long, and starting a blog. I always knew the two would be intertwined, though never anticipated what an amazing, breathtaking moment it would be. Ha! Ok, enough of that. So if you are actually bothered to read this thing, chances are, you probably know by now that I am heading off out of. I hope that I’ll be able to share these...

I Made This Out of Cardboard: September 2008
http://mattcowlrick.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
I Made This Out of Cardboard. Friday, September 12, 2008. I saw a man and he danced with his wife. Chicago was very beautiful and lots of fun. Short, but lots of fun. I was able to have a decent walk around, as I like to do in the cities I travel to. I was staying in Lincoln Park which is a really nice green and old style area. I walked to the park and on my way purchased the best damn sandwich I have ever had (thanks, Dustin! I had some outstanding coconut martinis. I’ve never done that. Ok, lecture over.

I Made This Out of Cardboard: Out with the old, in with the cheaper??
http://mattcowlrick.blogspot.com/2009/07/out-with-old-in-with-cheaper.html
I Made This Out of Cardboard. Friday, July 17, 2009. Out with the old, in with the cheaper? When the news was broken to me that FOX were recasting the characters in Futurama, I reacted very differently to how I would have a while ago. Back in my youth, in the earlier days of Futurama impressions and giddy voiceover aspirations, I would have cheered and been excited at the possibility of having a shot (however ridiculous) at auditioning for one of my most favourite shows ever. And JS. Gilbert. Oh well, ha...

I Made This Out of Cardboard: Would you like some Awesome with your Salzburger?
http://mattcowlrick.blogspot.com/2009/01/would-you-like-some-awesome-with-your.html
I Made This Out of Cardboard. Thursday, January 29, 2009. Would you like some Awesome with your Salzburger? Let me start by saying that I don't think I've ever been so irritated by such a small thing as a foreign keyboard before. So I touched down in Salzburg after sleeping through most of the plane trip and playing Metal Slug when I wasn't. I saw snow and was like WOW. It was great to have such an amazing initial view from above of this incredible city. Then the main course was Capon with an unreal sauc...

I Made This Out of Cardboard: November 2008
http://mattcowlrick.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
I Made This Out of Cardboard. Thursday, November 27, 2008. New York, New….something…I forget the rest. Now, after spending some time in New York City, it becomes kind of weird to see pigeons actually flying in the air. It’s that breed of town. There is so much trash (I hope it’s just trash) on the ground in Times Square, and of course the flying rats just flock to that area. Having eaten enough sugar to power a plasma TV for 3 hours, we called it a night. After a classic New York pizza and some more look...
