Queensland Lakes: Going home for 24 hours!
http://queenslandlakes.blogspot.com/2006/10/going-home-for-24-hours.html
News from Ian and Alison - Gold Coast, Australia. Sunday, October 29, 2006. Going home for 24 hours! At the beginning of October I was lucky enough to head to NZ on a work trip, which included 24 hours in Christchurch, so I stayed the night with my Mum and Dad, although with a work dinner that night, and a breakfast the next day - Dad reckoned I only came to get my washing done! He said it is just like the old days! Posted by Queensland Lakes. Lol at the washing comment! But is it true?

Queensland Lakes: Don't we look cute with our summer haircuts!!!
http://queenslandlakes.blogspot.com/2007/10/dont-we-look-cute-with-our-summer.html
News from Ian and Alison - Gold Coast, Australia. Sunday, October 07, 2007. Don't we look cute with our summer haircuts! Summer is almost here in Queensland - we are regularly getting days over 30 degrees. Our pool is almost at the right temperature for swimming, currently around 26 degrees (I am a bit of a sook, and don't usually get in until it is over 30 degrees! It in only fair then for the puppies to have a haircut, and get rid of their long winter coats - don't they look cute! New from NZ Newspapers.

Scrapbook Widower: The Church of the One True Scrapper
http://scrapbook-widower.blogspot.com/2008/02/church-of-one-true-scrapper.html
Wednesday, 5 March 2008. The Church of the One True Scrapper. And while on the subjest of religious affiliation. . . I note that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints (more conveniently called 'Mormons') are very, very fond of Genealogy. They certainly have extensive databases dedicated to collecting and recording family details. Thus it should be no surprise at all that they also feature heavily in the scrapping world. How do they do it? Does it influence the scrapping style? Ahahaha...

Queensland Lakes: Well Hello...its been a while!
http://queenslandlakes.blogspot.com/2007/02/well-helloits-been-while.html
News from Ian and Alison - Gold Coast, Australia. Wednesday, February 07, 2007. Well Hello.its been a while! Hello all from "Sunny Queensland". It has been a while since our last "post" and honestly we don't have a good excuse, except to say that work and house hold chores have kept us busy. it seems to be a never ending process, the weeds are taking over the garden. My mother is arriving from NZ on Friday, so we are madly trying to look like we are in control! I don't even have much news - other than, I...

Scrapbook Widower: I'm Sorry
http://scrapbook-widower.blogspot.com/2008/02/im-sorry.html
Wednesday, 13 February 2008. And I'm glad we've finally heard that from our PM. No, saying sorry doesn't solve the problems but it is a damn fine starting point. We might not have caused the problems but we do have to fix them. The tears pouring down the faces of some of the elderly Aboriginal people in crowds around Australia give the lie to the previous government's claim that saying "sorry" didn't mean anything. It did to those people. Now there is work to get on with. Life of a Scrapbooker's Husband.

Scrapbook Widower: Equilibrium
http://scrapbook-widower.blogspot.com/2008/10/equilibrium.html
Saturday, 11 October 2008. Morti made a a comment on my last post a few hours back that made me feel guilty - I haven't posted here for nearly six months. I could blame it on being busy, but then even at my busiest I have managed a post each day over at Cafe Grendel. I think what has really happened is that rather than the wild ride that being married to a scrapbooker was a year ago, things have now settled into a balance. I have visions of him stepping through the television and looking around in horror:.

Scrapbook Widower: The walls
http://scrapbook-widower.blogspot.com/2008/03/walls.html
Monday, 10 March 2008. It is spreading like a contagious disease. Off you go merrily to work in the morning and return home in the afternoon to find that the scrapbooking has leapt off the pages and on to the walls. I wondered if she'd run out of paper, but no, there on the shelf is the usual rainbow of cardstock - this was graffiti, pure and simple. Let me make myself clear. Not at all, never. Can I just state for the record that I am not acid-free and that I intend to commence lignin eating immediately.

News from Ian and Alison - Gold Coast, Australia. Sunday, October 07, 2007. Renovations almost done. just need to finish painting. Well we are almost there - and it is rather exciting. The window is in, the wine cellar is in and we are in the process of doing the 2nd coat of paint. Then it is just the splash back to finish and all will be complete! I am sure the neighbours will be pleased to see the shipping container off our front lawn. Not long now. Posted by Queensland Lakes. View my complete profile.
