The trust (AFET) is wholly devoted to the support of rural school children in Ecuador via the charity Voluntarios de Occidente. Money is raised throughout the year by individual supporters and by AFET at Christmas when cards, designed by children in Ecuador, are. Sold with almost 100% of the money going to the charity. The trust is run by volunteers, family and friends of Andrew Finch. We have been raising money for VDO since Andrew's untimely death in Ecuador and many of the poorest children in rural areas are benefiting from our funds. The trust has now been accepted by the UK Inland Revenue service as being charitable in nature, which means we can have a charity account, donations can be gift aided and tax claimed back. The three trustees for the charity are Adrienne Finch, Ros Earl and Rose Procter.

Thai Recipes from Jayne Duncan from Scotland. These make 4-5 Tablespoons of curry paste. You can make them and keep them in the fridge for a few days when you move or in the freezer. You can use these to make the curries add water to a little to make a marinade. Basically you put all the dry things in and bash until powder then chop all the other things as little as possible and add them to the dry things and bash until it is a paste. Very calming after a difficult day. 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns.

El Idioma Quichua Salasaca. El Quichua conocido como una lengua tiene muchas formas diferentes.De tal forma que en el Ecuador, se habla el quichua de diferente formas segun el grupo etnico. La forma gramatical es comun, pero las palabras pueden ser tan diferentes que los que hablan quichua en la sierra se comunican en castellano con quines hablan quichua en el "oriente" (la amazonia).
