Volunteering in Thailand: September 2010

http://volunteeringin-thailand.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Monday, September 27, 2010. A Look Around Surin. The market stalls when you enter the front gates. They sell snacks, drinks, elephant tail hair and ivory souvenirs. There are babies everywhere in Surin. This is where we have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Across from my room. You can see Sarot cleaning. That is where Nong Ning is chained at night. Washroom with bucket showers. Sunday, September 26, 2010. Saturday, September 25, 2010. Boiled eggs, bananas, and watermelon. Sarot and Nong Ning. Fingers Crosse...

Volunteering in Thailand: The Beginning and the End

http://volunteeringin-thailand.blogspot.com/2010/12/beginning-and-end.html

Friday, December 17, 2010. The Beginning and the End. The beginning and the end, and also a little bit in the middle. Basically, all the elephant unrelated parts with my transportation itinerary. Saturday, December 18, 2010. Taxi: SATY - Imabari JR Station. Bus: Imabari JR Station 21:05 - Toyo Port 21:55. Orange Ferry: Toyo 22:30 - Osaka 6:10. I usually go to Saty and grab a taxi from there because it's easy. BUT surprise surprise, there were no taxis there when I went! Sunday, December 19, 2010. The tax...

Volunteering in Thailand: Surin Day 6

http://volunteeringin-thailand.blogspot.com/2010/09/surin-day-6.html

Saturday, September 25, 2010. Boiled eggs, bananas, and watermelon. We went to the field where we planted bamboo to put up signs. We got a little lost driving around and there was a small biting red ant problem while we posed for photos. Grow big and strong my baby bamboo tree! All the photos above were taken by Alex Godfrey. We walked with the elephants to the new property and had a picnic lunch. The water level can go over the raised road during rainy season. A little break before we stop for lunch.

It was basically a huge indoor food court. There were so many different foods, it was hard to choose. Max went to order the locally popular  chicken rice dish. They’re already doing great things product and opportunity wise – as this Isagenix review. Shows – but they’re more than living well and making money. Or you might criticize drug company Merck for overcharging its customers when you learn they gave almost $43 million to charity in 2012*. It just softens the blow.
