Views from a Front Porch. One of my goals in the Food and fun section is to share places I would recommend for either activities, shopping or dining. I will also share places I would NOT recommend. These will be rare as I can usually find something redeeming about every place. If I can’t I usually won’t mention it; however, if a place is truly awful I will try to help you avoid my mistake. Worst meal I’VE EVER HAD! If you dine at Biscuits and Blues, you will notice they serve a locally made hot sauce....

Views from a Front Porch. Natchez, Mississippi sits on a bluff overlooking the mighty Mississippi River and is accessible using a variety of options. However, I believe the best way to get to Natchez is via the Natchez Trace. Designated as a National Parkway in 1938, it stretches 444 miles from Nashville, Tennessee to Natchez and closely follows the ancient route traveled by native Americans and early settlers alike. Farm house at Locust Mount along the trace, north of Natchez.
