We've just heard that there have been "troubles" in Edfu, which is half way from here to Luxor in the north and that there's a curfew from 4pm to 6am. We've been in the Sudanese desert and flat out finding beds, let alone internet connection, so now's the first time we've managed to get online - here in Egypt's wonderful Aswan, near the high dam that makes Lake Nasser.
