Thursday, November 17, 2011. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer. June 28, 2011. A very savory book. It was definitely a fun quick read and I was surprised how I was unable to put down this book because I had to know what was going to happen next. Cremer does a great job creating the world that Calla lives in and the rules that she must abide by. It's a refreshing spin on the supernatural YA genre and the whole Guardian/Keepers/Seekers ordeal was very fascinating. Source: Won from contest via jessicalovewrites.

Booksaur: Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma
http://booksaur.blogspot.com/2011/12/imaginary-girls-by-nova-ren-suma.html
Friday, December 23, 2011. Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma. By Nova Ren Suma. June 14, 2011. What did I just read? The book's promise of a very strange story and the sibling bond between Chloe and Ruby. The amazing cover art. The best way that I can explain this book is by referencing "Fight Club" (I won't' spoil the movie of course! Chloe had a very unhealthy obsession with Ruby and everything was "Ruby this" "Ruby that." I honestly got mad reading this because I kept putting it down and asking when.
