From your earliest of days and years. Have taken you on quite an adventure. From trekking through the woods of Alabama,. To honoring those in the House of Skulls (Sabah, Malaysia). Those are skulls, fallen from headhunters in Borneo. And practicing your skills just in case! From meeting new friends from all over the world. Not surprising the you would buddy up with Thor! With a name like that he is bound to match you perfectly. To sharing this wild ride with family. A BIG Happy 14th Birthday to you Luke!

Bowers' Boys and Me: December 2012
http://bowersboysandme.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow. The following is a letter that I typically write every year simply detailing what we have done over the past year. It is my way of traveling down memory lane as I look forward to the upcoming year. Merry Christmas from the Bowers. So here we are again at the close of another year… It just seems like yesterday that I was mentally preparing and somewhat organizing for a move to Indiana. That’s exactly what was happening this time last year. And on December the 29.

http://valeriejones.blogspot.com/2013/04/zoe-is-six-yes-6.html
Sunday, April 7, 2013. Zoe is SIX. Yes, 6! Each year, the "Birthday Balloon Fairy" puts the exact number of balloons on your bed for ever how old you're turning the next day. Zoe knows that I am the Birthday Balloon Fairy and LOVES this birthday tradition that we have! Oh my Oh my. Oh my. I really cannot fathom that six years have passed by since Zoe was born. It's simply unbelievable. I say these words pretty much everyday. Ha. How do the days pass by so quickly? So hard to believe! She loves to read!

Bowers' Boys and Me: Chasing God ~
http://bowersboysandme.blogspot.com/2013/02/chasing-god.html
Look what I found! As I was watching a link of this young man from another blog, I decided to pull up the website he mentioned. After scrolling through a few of his webisodes (sp), I found this one on pornography. It is only the first of two and is about 12 minutes long. but oh so worth watching. BTW I think this young man is wise way beyond his years. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Welcome to my newest project. Looking Down in Jackson Hole. I'm a Mommy: "God, will you show me your power today? I need to see you today"
http://valeriejones.blogspot.com/2013/01/god-will-you-show-me-your-power.html
Tuesday, January 8, 2013. God, will you show me your power today? I need to see you today". The visitation was Sunday. The funeral was Monday. Those days were tough on me as Mama Jane and I were close. We've spent a lot of time together and made lots of great memories. I'm thankful for that. (Did I mention that the Saturday before Christmas we had a family picture made with Mama Jane in it? And, that day was her 88th birthday! Today I prayed, "God, please will you show me your power today? I tell you all...

I'm a Mommy: Sweetest Fall Program, Ever!
http://valeriejones.blogspot.com/2012/11/sweetest-fall-program-ever.html
Sunday, November 18, 2012. Sweetest Fall Program, Ever! Zoe's Kindergarten class had a fall program last week. Oh. MY! It was the sweetest program I've ever seen. They all sang so sweetly and sang so happily! Zoe's teacher, Ms. Lee. This girl had a LOT to say during the program. I had no idea she had such a large part in her class skit, "The Billy Goat's Gruff." She was the narrator! I was nervous for her. walking up to the microphone and reading in front of a pretty large audience. WHOA!

Bowers' Boys and Me: A Little Girl's Dream
http://bowersboysandme.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-little-girls-dream.html
A Little Girl's Dream. Many have asked today about my birthday and have sent many wishes my way. I couldn't be any more thrilled or happy to read them than I am right now and I appreciate each and everyone. As a small child I was fascinated with horses and begged my parents to get me one. However, we lived in subivisions with small tracs of land that were not suitable for any large animal. It didn't matter. I continued to beg. Doing what I LOVE best with some of my favorite people. I'm a Mommy: Uncle Sam Wants You!
http://valeriejones.blogspot.com/2013/07/uncle-sam-wants-you.html
Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Uncle Sam Wants You! Luke has adjusted (finally) to Zoe being home for summer break and he just LOVES her! Initially Luke didn't particularly care for his big sis taking over HIS mommy one on one time. But, now, he follows her around copying everything she does and says. Honestly, she kinda likes it and she loves babying him all day :) They laugh and play together all day. It's really really sweet. I thought this picture was funny! You have the most beautiful babies :).
