Voting Rights Law - A Resource to States, Cities & Towns on Voting Rights & Redistricting
With the release of the 2000 U.S. Decennial Census in April 2001, states, cities and towns will face the daunting task of redistricting and have to assess whether their electoral plans comply with the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended, and the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
