Thursday, January 29, 2015. As I was cleaning out some of my memory cards and viewing footage and pictures before deleting them. (I have quite a few memory cards for my cameras.) I came across a video that is short and sweet. I was attempting to take a selfie, but I clearly did not change the settings on my camera and I took this video. =). Tuesday, January 27, 2015. CARF Outdoors: September 2014

Monday, September 29, 2014. Stumbled upon this on one of the Facebook Subaru Outback forums. Someone posted about how the side skirts really have no drain holes, and if removed you will find all kinds of dust, muck, and old salt residue. Living in the Chicagoland area, in the winter we go through a astronomical amount of salt. That is bad news for our vehicles, because, of rust. The side skirts in the picture below have almost no drainage holes underneath. Friday, September 26, 2014. PURPLE RAIN 2.0.

Thursday, February 26, 2015. Just like, Mel over at The Pond Stalker. I love catching me some crappie and other various panfish on the fly. Lakes and ponds are where I grew up fishing, and those are the bodies of water nearest to my home. I spend a lot of time at these places after work during the week catching bluegill, sunfish, crappie, and bass. Justin Carfagnini approves this message. What's your biggest crappie on the fly? What's your biggest crappie ever? Saturday, February 21, 2015. Because, you n...

CARF Outdoors: April 2015

Monday, April 27, 2015. Took a ride with my Uncle and Cousin to help with the grunt work of setting up my grandparents camper. Things on the usual agenda. 1 Get the roof/tarp over the screened in deck. This was the hardest part of the day, and to think, our Grandfather used to do this by himself with the help of our Grandmother using the broomstick. Unbelievable. Clean up all of the leaves that accumulated on the deck and stayed all Winter. Roll out the carpet. Set up the tables, chairs, and cabinets.

Thursday, August 13, 2015. Got our for a float with some cool dudes. Met up at a boat launch on a Northern stretch of the Des Plains River (DPR) about 7 AM. Spotted this at the boat launch out of the corner of my eye, and got a good lauch out of it. I have a simple humor, and I'm a little upset, I didn't think about this. HA! Here's looking at you! The Float Crew this trip. Urban Assault Fly Fishing - Dave. Marcus - DPR Pro. Not pictured are Dan and Saul. 4 Kayaks, 1 Canoe, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Thursday, October 30, 2014. Just thought I would share this video I came across. I have never seen footage of how vicious wolves can be. I feel bad for that coyote, but he seemed like he was aware of the consequences. Those wolves really F'd him up bad! Notice the bald eagle scavaging! Reminds me of the time I saw a bald eagle. Up north scavaging on a dead deer on the side of the road. Friday, October 24, 2014. FSA Custom Rods presents: The Dragon Slayer. An FSA Custom Rod. More specs on the rod. Smoke b...
