Au dessus de la croix un écriteau porte quatre lettres: ИСRF, que nous pouvons lire comme ICRY, correspondant peut être au latin: Iesus Christus Rex Iudaeorum. D’habitude le Titulus Crucis. Contient la lettre N pour Nazarenus. Et pas de lettre C. Ce genre de nomination existe bien dans les commentaires de la Bible.

Le dernier commentaire d’Éric m’a fait prendre conscience que j’ai passé plusieurs années à scruter le texte du manuscrit de Voynich pour y trouver juste quelques mots. Ma méthode doit être très insuffisante. La première correction que j’aimerais apporter c’est de ne plus négliger l’alphabet EVA, même si je propose parfois d’autres solutions. Existe-t-il une langue qui utilise les racines grecques et une conjugaison plus simple?
