Monday, February 17, 2014. Magnetic levitation using opamp LM358, mosfet IRFZ44 and Linear Hall sensor. Coil is made using 28SWG and has approximately 12ohms of resistance. Iron core is only 70% of the coil length, this prevents magnet getting attracted to iron core and damaging hall sensor accidentally. Here's the link to the original project.
