Saturday, May 30, 2015. River Bank The 2nd Time Around. Last year I wished I had signed up for the River Bank and it was a gorgeous day for a race. I got sick in February and took time away from training so I wasn't quite ready to run it. So this year I was going to do it. I found myself a training buddy and we signed up. We trained in the snow and all sorts of conditions. We were ready! It was awesome and such a God thing. I sang and plugged along! Before the race we hung out in the Amway, perfect spot!

Monday, May 12, 2014. Mother's Day and Ava's Dedication. We headed over to Lansing for Mother's Day this year. My niece Ava was being dedicated at church and we sure didn't want to miss it. It was nice to be with my whole VanDyke family for the day to celebrate Ava and my mom. My kids love seeing Chloe, so wish we lived closer, they do play well together. Ava, Katie, Chloe and Trevor. I have to say, I was happy with the result and the Hubs kept commenting on how good it was - double win! Mini Chicken Pot Pies. 2 cans flaky layering biscuits. 2 cans cream of chicken soup. 2 cans cooked chicken (2 cups). 1 bag frozen mixed veggies. 1 Mix soup, veggies, and chicken in a bowl and season to taste. Sunday, May 1, 2011. Mikayla's 5th Birthday party! So after the March of Dimes walk we had a few hours and then we started Mikayla's birthday party! The day began to cloud over and we ended up with a few sprinkles, but then it cleared out again and the sun began to shine. Mikayla and 8 friends had a great time at the party!
