The Windamere period postbox. A Windamere annexe, English country garden style. Relaxing on the terrace this morning. On the terrace overlooking Himalayan foothills. Buying sweets and ices after Saturday morning school. Boys and girls come out to play. Trekkers take a break in Chowrasta, the local meeting square.

All were in beautiful, English old style uniforms worn as they ought to be; no shirts out or ties undone. The western style dress indicates private schools. Hill view as we climbed from Bagdogra. Our beautiful, gorgeous little girl, Anna, has leukaemia. She was diagnosed on Monday 5 December 2011. Laquo; 2 special certificates. Anna’s new wheelchair. On April 12, 2014. Anna finally has her new wheelchair. We’ve tried several times over the last year to collect it but Anna had always had either an infection or a broken bone and we’ve been unable to travel. Veronica, Tom and Patricia's long awaited trip to India! November 4, 2010. We got up at 4am after a good sleep, our car and driver were waiting and we set off on the journey home. Everything went smoothly. We spent all but 5 of our rupees in the airport; we even found Bournville Fruit and Nut chocolate! Our aircraft was only half full so we had plenty of space and enjoyed a comfortable flight home. Back at Patricia’s we sat down to a welcome lunch particularly enjoying our cups of tea.
