What is the difference between RTOS and non RTOS(i.e. General OS)? Posted September 4, 2006. Is deterministic . General computing OS is non-deterministic. Adding of required components are allowed in RTOS. Hence the size of the image of RTOS. Can be reduced upon the available memory. Never supports virtual memory .
