Running For Jugs: Exciting Week!
http://runningforjugs.blogspot.com/2009/11/exciting-week.html
Thursday, November 5, 2009. It's an exciting week:. Breaking into double-digit long-runs with my 10-miler this Saturday. At 194 miles, I will break the 200-mile mark of total training this weekend after my long run! I will conquer the 10-mile run this weekend, which is the same run that injured my leg on August 24th- this is the battle royale after a 2-month wait! This is my last weekend of running consecutive long runs- now I will run long runs every other weekend! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Running For Jugs: Good news and bad news....
http://runningforjugs.blogspot.com/2009/12/good-news-and-bad-news.html
Sunday, December 20, 2009. Good news and bad news. I don't have much time to post, but. 1) I don't believe that I'll be running in the marathon, because I need to focus on rehabbing my knee (if you've been following on Twitter, I've been in PT for 1.5 months, and my recent MRI came back negative! 2) I'm totally addicted to running so I'm still training and running! I plan on running a marathon next Fall/Winter- which, to be determined. Thank you very much to all of my donors and supporters!

Eating dinner in under 20 seconds. This is Remy my lab mix! In case anyone is wondering (or PETA is reading this), I don't take him on my long runs, but he is great for my weekday slow, short runs! 79 Miles in Vinings. So far no injuries and the miles are flying by! Also, THANK YOU. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Monday: 42 minute run.

Running For Jugs: Upcoming week and 5 miles!
http://runningforjugs.blogspot.com/2009/10/upcoming-week-and-5-miles.html
Monday, October 12, 2009. Upcoming week and 5 miles! This last weekend I did successfully run 5 miles! I definitely paid for running too fast all week with completely dead legs by the end of 5 miles, but no injuries! This week's mantra: "Don't Be Stupid: Run Slow! Monday: Leg and foot lifts to strengthen my ever-weak quads. Tuesday: 30 minutes (2/1 Run/Walk). Wednesday: More leg and foot lifts. Thursday: 30 minutes (2/1 Run/Walk). Saturday: 6.5 miles (2/1 Run/Walk). October 12, 2009 at 10:34 AM. Hills, H...
Running For Jugs: October 2009
http://runningforjugs.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 30, 2009. I just returned from a very spur-of-the-moment trip to DC. It was a lot of fun seeing some professors from University of Maryland and wandering around campus. I also went geek-tastic and went to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum- I swear I could spend 12 hours there reading every little placard- yep, geek. Although I was on "vacation", I was able to get in 2 regular runs and a 7.3 mile long run. The long run was awesome! Tuesday, October 13, 2009. I know most people hate hi...
Running For Jugs: September 2009
http://runningforjugs.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. 15 minutes of running and counting. Last Saturday I ran for 15 minutes! It was not fast, it was not long, but it was without injury! After cheering on Jenna at the Ekigen Relay Marathon (6 people, 3.5 miles each), it was a little depressing only running for 15 minutes, but I need to be as cautious as possible so that I don't re-injure myself. Saturday: 6 miles (SUPER-SUPER SLOWLY). Thursday, September 24, 2009. Ok, so need to take another week off. Now, I'd love. This is a con...

Running For Jugs: It's been a good week
http://runningforjugs.blogspot.com/2009/10/its-been-good-week.html
Friday, October 9, 2009. It's been a good week. Running went really well this week: over 25 minutes on Tuesday and 30 minutes on Thursday! In fact it went so well that I definitely ran too fast, so I'll be running like K-Fed dodging paparazzi: slllloooowwwwlllllyyyy . Tomorrow's goal: 5 miles! Long gone, I guess, are the days when Nike and performance running were antithetical. It took a lot of soul searching, but damn those shoes are comfortable! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Running For Jugs: Week-in-review
http://runningforjugs.blogspot.com/2009/10/week-in-review.html
Monday, October 5, 2009. So last week I ran around 22.5 minutes on Tuesday, 25 minutes on Thursday, and 4 miles on Saturday (in around 39 minutes). So far my leg is feeling decent- a little creaky, but nothing to stop me entirely. This week's schedule:. Saturday: 4 - 6.5 miles (depending on how things feel). Unfortunately, I have a strained calf so I'm trying to mend that as well, but that is nothing compared to what my thigh was. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
