BIH border – you need a Green Card which our UK insurance wouldn’t give us so we had to buy at the border and it cost us E20 (plus E10 bribe as we had gone through on a Sunday and the Green card man was “not working” that day so we had to make it worth his while to give us the card or face having to come back the next day. We got to Varna in the afternoon and were met by Des who showed us the way to his house (lucky cause we would have got very lost! We have fitted an Eezi. Awn roof top tent with a shower skirt as well as an Eezi. Awn side awning (Series 2000). We learnt the hard way that the awning must be pegged down even if there is the slightest bit of wind . Wolf storage boxes are excellent pieces of kit as they are very robust and fit together nicely. We tried to find more of a "wilderness" first aid course that covered issues like snake and spider bites etc but we were not able to find a course like this in the UK. Scenery in the mountains is beautiful, really didn’t expect this much snow to still be about this late in the year. All the rivers are in flood and dirty I suspect this is from the melting snow.
