Our group has always been very active in APRS. We currently have two high profile APRS digipeaters. We hope to add two additional digipeaters in the next year to provide better coverage. K8GPS-4 and K8GPS-10 digipeaters are now full function iGates as well. These digipeaters are providing fantastic coverage and much more reliable reporting to the internet. They will also gate (transmit) APRS Messages over RF within 20 miles of their locations. K8GPS-4 is high profile and located SE of Columbus.

The W8DIG P-25 Repeater. The W8DIG P-25 Repeater utilizes a Motorola Quantro UHF Repeater capable of over 225 watts of power. The repeater is configured in CAI mode which allows it to operate as a conventional FM Repeater as well as in P-25 Digital mode. This makes the repeater truly versatile.
