In the name of the Beer, the Grub and the Holy Pub. Ahhh Men! The Last Great Australian. No this isn’t about Ned Kelly, Cathy Freeman, John Eales… or any other famous Aussie. This is about a national icon, beer. Fosters and Lion Nathan have both decided that they’d prefer money over values and are now 100% owned overseas (Japan and England). Will Coopers cash in on this? I for one will not be drinking Australian beer that has been made by English or Japs! I can only hope others have similar mindsets.

Out of those, 74 have been from WA alone. I have been to 31 of 41 craft breweries – 13 of them more than twice – and have tried beers from 34 of them. Here are my favourite WA brews thus far (and where they rate over all). 1 Colonial Brewery: Kolsch (3rd). 2 Nail Brewing: Nail Ale (4th). 5 Feral Brewery: Hop Hog (12th).
