Water 1 | Africa: It's not what you think
https://catherinerodd.wordpress.com/2014/06/27/water-1-4

Walking | Africa: It's not what you think
https://catherinerodd.wordpress.com/2014/07/11/walking
Posted by Catherine Rodd. July 11, 2014. Children and their bike on their way home from school in Zambia. When an African colleague says, it’s only a short walk”, I prepare for a trek. A short walk is anything up to five miles, “a bit far” is over five miles and “it is too far for us to walk today” is more than ten miles. Posted by Catherine Rodd. July 8, 2014. Much of my travel is about food, or the lack of it in sub-Saharan Africa. Some areas are hit harder than others by drought, but there is no doubt that climate change is taking its large toll. On farmers and herders. Older people talk of predicable rains, the short rains in late spring months of November and December and the long rains in the fall months, April, May and June.
