Aan de keukentafel voeren we soms moeilijke gesprekken, of knagen een heel pak verse speculaas leeg terwijl we een nieuw concept bedenken. De keukentafel is ook een metafoor voor alles dat in Wachthuis Q met eten en drinken, met geur en smaak te maken heeft. Van een koekje bij de thee tot een uitgebreid diner. Van de geur van verse soep of brood in de oven, tot de geur van buitenlucht.

Kapt G.A Meyerweg 4. Wachthuis Q is een oud garnizoens-gebouw aan de rand van de vesting-stad Naarden. Een unieke plek. Letterlijk buiten het gebaande pad, gelegen op een ravelijn, een soort taartpunt in de vestinggracht. Wachthuis Q is een inspirerende ruimte om met uw team de wereld eens anders te bekijken. Een plek die uitnodigt om tot heel andere gesprekken te komen. Zouden de Britten zeggen. En hoe dat komt? Is het de combinatie van licht en ruimte? De ongestoorde rust en de privacy van de plek?

Kapt G.A Meyerweg 4. Wachthuis Q is onderdeel van de Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie en werd in 1875 gebouwd ter versterking van de stervormige stad Naarden Vesting. Het diende als veilig onderkomen voor 21 manschappen en als bergplaats voor geschut en buskruit. Na de laatste restauratie is het wacht-huis voorzien van ramen achter de luiken, verwarming en is het privaat (P). Aangepast aan modern gebruik. In gebruik als keuken, waar gasten aanschuiven aan de lange keukentafel en 's winters de houtkachel brandt.
