Campsites

We also now have a tented village campsite. With ready-pitched tents, access to equipment, small hut and electric points. Perfect for younger groups or schools. Main Campsites are open from late March to mid-October. Smaller Campsites are open January to December. There is a laundry service available on site for guests. A charge per washload will be incurred. Please provide your own washing powder. Tented 'Village' on Craggside. Hilltop has stunning views across towards Waddington village and beyond.

Waddow boasts four conference rooms with a choice of layouts including classroom, boardroom and theatre style. Waddow holds a number of fun activity-based days or themed days for Girlguiding members to attend. Waddow has been providing schools with activity holidays and day visits for over 15 years. If your child is attending an activity day or residential at Waddow, this page will answer some of the questions that you may have. Meals and afternoon teas are available all year round for pre-booked groups.

Waddow has been providing schools with activity holidays and day visits for over 15 years. We are inspected by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) and are a licensed provider of activities. The British Canoe Union (BCU) has approved our centre for paddle-sport activities. We hold the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC) Quality Badge and Adventuremark certificate. Please contact the Office for a school information pack. Risk assessments may be downloaded from the Resources page.

Waddow offers an exciting range of adventurous instructed activities, non-instructed activities and games for groups to book on an individual or package basis. We have activities to suit all ages and abilities, whether it is something you would like to try for the very first time or something you have done before and want to gain more experience. We cater for all sizes of groups, from the very large to the very small. If you are organising an event, camp or activity day please contact our team.

Waddow holds a number of fun activity-based days or themed days for Girlguiding members to attend. Waddow offers a programme of leisure breaks from those as young as 4 to 104. These include house parties and a highly successful outdoor camp. Waddow offers an exciting range of adventurous instructed activities, non-instructed activities and games for groups to book on an individual or package basis. Waddow can offer a choice of residential accommodation to suit the needs of your group.
