Monday, December 17, 2007. Our ultrasound today confirmed our suspicions that we are having a little boy this time! We are thrilled to now have "one of each! Machen of course is beaming and I have adjusted to the idea of moving out of my "girl world." I'm ready for a new adventure! And the best part of all.everything looks absolutely normal. We have NO high risk issues this time around! We are so thankful that God has once again answered our prayers. The doctor said his heart looks "beautiful!

Monday, February 18, 2008. Machen's 30th B-day Getaway! Of course, she had great caretakers! Here are some shots from our trip. We enjoyed bumming around downtown Asheville. It's a very "artsy" town with lots of little shops, cafe's, and musicians on each street corner. The weather was so nice (60's and sunny) that we were able to eat outside at this this restaurant. Thursday, July 3, 2008. I'm actually updating my blog! As you can see, it's a bit harder these days to find time for blogging. :) Yes, life with a 2 yr. old and a 2 mo. old is VERY busy! I hadn't anticipated it being quite this challenging, but with each passing day we are settling into a "new norm." As I'm writing both kiddos have woken up from their naps.so we'll see how far I get here! I can't believe Drew will be. He's is growing so quickly. It's incredible to watch the transformation take place!

Brianna is preparing to be "mommy's helper." One of her favorite activities right now is changing her doll's diapers. She's going to be a great big sister! All day long she says, "Baby Out! She's getting very anxious to get this baby out of mommy's tummy. Mommy is too! The baby has turned "head down".yay!

Tuesday, May 6, 2008. 2 1/2 weeks and we're still surviving! Well, life is starting to settle into a new routine here. Drew is now 2 1/2 weeks old and is doing great! Mommy is very tired until she gets her long daytime nap. Thankfully my mom is here for 2 1/2 more weeks to help out. She makes it possible for me to take my naps and keep my sanity! He's going to be one styling little man! I haven't seen Brianna that dirty in a long time! Needless to say, she thoroughly enjoyed herself. :). Love ya, Aunt Kay.
