If the figures are to be believed, it's certainly lighter than my current 'All Mountain" bike! Nukeproof DH BIKE built by Shed Fire. Amazing looking bike now it's built. New colour options for X9 and cranksets are now being re-branded as Truvativ X9 and X0. All completely overhauled and now 10 speed. It all looks very desirable :). Homework is in the dog. The bike is clean. Can't win 'em all. Went out on Wednesday morning on the road bike - early, freezing, wet and some desperate potholes to avoid. The trip of a lifetime completed with little or no planning - no change there then. Day1 - murder, 9pm start, after long train ride, fog and rain, mega mega climbing, 229miles, 22h50m out, 17h50m pedalling - destination cheddar gorge. Destination Belford (South of Berwick). Destination Luncarty, North of Perth. Destination Helmsdale, not far to go!

First up is the Kielder 100 http:/ www.sip-events.co.uk/kielder-home.html. Tom, Bison and I go up there to try our hand at the first one hundred mile off-road event. Plenty of training in hand for this. Bison and I going for the first leg of the Pennine Bridleway this weekend if the weather is good. Sounds good and there is no excuse for any of us to not be there.

We did actually do 47 miles that day and a great ride it was too, messing around on old Arkright Town tip. T'was very sunny but a tad chilly. I decided that my back wheel was ready for new bearings as it was creaking like a bad ass. Thursday, 15 April 2010. Local Charity Ride - Tonyas Challenge. Monday, 12 April 2010. Red in the house.
