In defense of Alan Gay. Saturday, November 27, 2010. And so, it's done. The good news is that Alan has been awarded a court appointed attorney (now after the fact) to help him with an appeal of this case. It is almost the end of November and he has not yet been able to meet with said attorney but when Alan met with the attorney's supervisor, he said that the appeal is most definitely winnable but it would take 4 to 5 months. Oh no Perhaps a simple, "Whoops, sorry we made a mistake? And so, its done.
