Wednesday, March 30, 2011. It's 12:43 and I'm exhausted. I started this post this afternoon and just erased everything that I wrote. It was on purpose. It was crap. It was forced. This is forced too, but in a different way. I haven't written in a week. I didn't write about our hike. I didn't write about all the sunshine and the things that I've crossed off my list. There was enough time, but I was like, "eh" when it came to writing. Maybe I'll just spend the day doing whatever she wants. I read before bed.

Thursday, July 21, 2011. When I was a newly 24, I was sitting on a plane one day. Flying back to Pennsylvania from my childhood home of Washington. I thought about what I was doing with my life. I thought about the things that were holding me back. And I thought about who I was becoming. Not that I was going down a dark, gloomy road or anything. I was still motivated, I was still a good person. But, the glass was only half full and my potential was being locked up. Thus, Fish Out of Water was born.
