In some senses, the sting of the wait with its ups and downs is still there, yet it seems, too, she has always been a part of our family, as she is so deeply entrenched in our hearts. Friday, June 19, 2015. The News for June 2015. I gave a blood sample on June 9, and went to see the doc this past Tuesday. The cancer went back up this time, but if you look at the cancer indicator levels over the past five months, things are pretty stable. The doc is not alarmed, and is calling to stay the course and have me come back and check on things again at the end of the summer. Sunday, May 4, 2014. A Comparitively High Increase. On a related development, for at least a year I have had a sore on the end of my nose that just would not heal. I went in to have it tested, and it came back as a mild form of cancer called basal cell carcinoma. I will go in for in-clinic surgery to have the cancer spot removed on Thursday, 5/8.
