This is an adaptation of the piece of music we wrote for my cousin’s wedding – minus the violin part! Calon Lan from Tim’s Scribble Album. I had forgotten all about this. It’s a blast from the past. It sounds so raw! March 8, 2015 at 9:41 pm. Absolutely beautiful and powerful. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Aunty Em's: July 2012
http://aunty-ems.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Happy, Healthy Food. Monday, July 16, 2012. SCD, Here we Come! Alright, we’re ready. On Saturday we went shopping and bought everything we need for the SCD Intro Diet. This is supposed to last for three days (give or take a day), and it cost us R164. That’s really, really. Good for three days for our family, so I think perhaps it won’t last as long as I’m hoping. But some of that stuff will last longer than three days, like the eggs, so we’ll see. Now, I don’t know how long this lot is. Fewer mood swings;.

Just a few of my favourite things (and moments. And books. And assorted geeky obsessions). At the Crossing of the Moons. The Endless Steppe →. August 6, 2014. Once again it has been many months since my last post. This is partly because I am, at best, a sporadic blogger, but mostly because these past few months have been among the most hectic and life-changing months of my life. Since I’m straight, watching a chick in the role of Thor does not present the same appeal. Objectification of the opp...You are...

This is not in fact the road less travelled: since it’s in Forks, Washington, one can probably not move for all the vampettes and werewanters. This habit-formed rut is especially noticeable in my choice of reading material. As I mentioned in my previous post. I read Ursula le Guin. Lost in a Good Book. September 11, 2013.

Yes, this is my really truly wedding cake. Gluten free chocolate – mmmmm. No dragons to slay, no heroic quests to perform. In short, we had a boring, normal, almost stress-free relationship, right from the beginning. And I am secure and stable and utterly certain of my husband’s love for me. Our wedding was small...

Not where I was, but definitely where I wish I had been! Hey – I’m back! Much has happened since I last posted, most notably, I have decided to once more wing my way across the ocean back to England, where there is public transport, a living wage, and a slightly less openly ridiculous government. Steady Eddie (not his real name). Long Reining in the Long Rain →. The Sounds of Monnington. May 29, 2015. I was awake at 4.30am, listening to the dawn chorus, both mornings. On the first morning, it was not the birdsong that woke me but worry. What had I done? This photo was taken after they had straightened it! Miss Puddleduck slept on the luton and Miss Friendship was on a camp bed in the horse area. Longshanks, being a gentleman, was in the tent. I liked them. Their feathers were collected by the...
