Saturday, July 29, 2006. Well, I'd say we're really a family! Our lives have seemed so abnormal for the past 2 months that sometimes I didn't think anything would seem "normal" again. We are settling into a routine. Siri eats regularly and predictably so we don't worry about that anymore. She still doesn't eat a lot of different foods, but that will come with time. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Never in our wildest dreams would we have thought that on the day the courts re-opened, we would get a call from our caseworker telling us we had a court date! Wednesday, November 13, 2013. So then that happened. I honestly can't believe I'm updating this page right now. It feels a little surreal, as I wasn't sure if/when I would ever update again given where we were when I last updated. Rather than beginning at the end and ending at the beginning, I'm going to tell this the old fashioned way. We had made the decision to stop trying to have kids biologically. I was over and done with the roller coaster and we were ready to move on and pursue other methods.
