Bram Stoker’s Dracula. May 28, 2009 at 7:55 pm ( Uncategorized. Brian and I are currently reading. And I love it. I’ve read it before, but so long ago that I don’t really remember much of it. But let me tell you, this time it is fascinating. I have to admit that I have an interest in Dracula, mostly because I’ve been to Romania and Dracula’s Castle. It really exists; check it out — www.draculascastle.com. May 17, 2009 at 7:18 pm ( Uncategorized. Maybe someone else would find the courage to be honest, too.

July 11, 2009 at 9:42 am ( Uncategorized. The Seven Storey Mountain. I finally finished reading. The Seven Storey Mountain. And though the first half took me forever (like a month) to get through, I couldn’t put it down once I got to the second half. It’s a wonderful story of how Thomas Merton went from a life of sin and selfishness to become a Trappist monk. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. I’ve moved! | Waiting for Sunday
https://waitingforsunday.wordpress.com/2009/08/19/ive-moved
August 19, 2009 at 8:23 pm ( Uncategorized. Sorry for the long hiatus! But I’ve moved, and have a new job, and have been buying frog legs by the pound at the grocery store. Since you can do that in East Texas. And my house is a disaster. I started to get some of it organized where I didn’t have to climb over the piano to get to the coffeepot, but then I bought a couch, armchair, dining room table and chairs, and hutch. Lots of pictures and stories coming soon, though, I promise! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

August 1, 2009 at 8:35 pm ( Uncategorized. I hate moving. We have too much junk. August 3, 2009 at 10:28 pm. I love using all different sizes and shapes of boxes and trying to get them all to fit in the moving van in an orderly fashion. And waking up 10 years later to discover you haven’t finished unpacking. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Jasmine tagged me in a meme. I still do not know how to say the word "meme". I'm suppose to be totally honest and write 10 things about myself, I'm guessing 10 things that most people would not know. I think.Anyway, here I go. 2 Sometimes I get shy at drive- thrus. Because I am afraid the people behind me in line will hear what I am ordering and think that I am some kind of sicko for ordering three beef and potato burritos. Usually I feel this way at Taco Bueno. To having a sh...

Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Besides posting the link to the actual news, I realize that I have not written about this pregnancy at all. And I suppose that's normal, because aren't you supposed to document less and less of each child's life? Like, while I took pictures and ran to the blog as soon as Norah cooed for the first time, this baby will probably not even get its picture. Until its a full 18 years old? Or something like that. This is a Breeze! Here is a picture for Grandma:. Straight from the 58.

Thursday, May 14, 2015. The Pants That Brought Me Here. After a nearly 6 year hiatus, I am back. And you want to know why? Because of my pants. My pants have brought me back. Really I guess getting pregnant again has brought me back, but in a roundabout kind of way, the pants have too. I considered starting a new blog, something I've done two or three times already, but opted to come back to where it all started. Back to sadiemama, because in the end, that's what this is all about. Where's Our Stork?
Wednesday, April 27, 2011. We've had no internet or phone for the past 8 days *sob*. We switched providers to save a little money. They said it would take 10-30 minutes to switch us over, it took 8 whole days! Ok, I know it was Easter and a long weekend, but still! I don't think husband has made so many angry phone calls in his life! I almost cried when the phone actually rang today, and it was the service provider saying all was ok and we didn't need to pay for this month to make up for it. I could neve...

Random rantings of a thirty-something parenting after infertility and loss. Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Fertility, entitlement, and remembering life isn't fair. I bit my lip thinking about the child I had lost, and she continued I don't want to spend more on girl things, and girls are complicated and talk back and boys are easy, I was meant to be a mom to boys. And then, a few months later at her twenty week check up? I'm having a boy! I wish I was exxagerating. I smiled, observing her sincere ease. Sh...

Hope is coming for me. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Is this real life? By that I mean: am I seriously starting nursing school in the morning? Where did the time go? Don't get me wrong, I am so glad that these past two years are over and done with. But let's face it, they went by fast! It is going to be an interesting one. I am excited to see what the Lord does in me this year. Love you and miss you all. Texas is not far from my heart. Ps: 14 days. 20 hours. 47 minutes. Sunday, August 22, 2010. Thanks to t...
