Life in the meantime. Our story has a sad for us ending with Walker being called to heaven on April 20, 2016. I have continued to write about our experiences and our journey through the past two years can be found on Walker’s caring bridge page. Here is how it all started:. Walker lost his battle against AutoImmune Encephalitis on April 20,2016. I continue writing to encourage others in their struggles and be transparent with the pain and beauty that goes with having a foot in heaven and one on earth.

Life in the meantime. So Long ago, began a passion for photography. It started in high school with Mrs. Pouncey and a desire to hold an office in an after school club. Lame , I know. I was historian. What does that even mean? After two years of caring for my oldest son who suddenly became ill and then having him called home to heaven, I am ready to find something that I can call my own again.
