Friday, February 11, 2011. This week Caleb was so excited when he got to bring Sprinkles home for a couple of days. He has kept him busy playing at home, watching a movie, going to the library and story time and getting hair cuts! He also made a little bed for Sprinkles to sleep in right next to his. Thursday, October 22, 2009. We went to the arboretum to see all the pumpkins. We had beautiful weather! Emmy and Pops came in town and went with us! Sunday, October 11, 2009. Houston is 4 months old and is just so sweet.he smiles all the time. He loves hailey - when she is around he can't quit looking at her. Enjoys the excersaucer now! Monday, November 23, 2009. Yesterday Caleb and Caroline sang "Do Lord" in big church with the preschool choir. When did my babies get big enough to sing in church? Anyways, they all did such a good job and it was precious to watch! Nana and Pawpaw came to see them sing and then we went to lunch with them. What a fun Sunday! The pictures aren't very good and have other parent's heads in them but they still all look so cute! Tuesday, November 10, 2009. We finally saw some elk right before we left the park!

Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Saturday we went to the ECPTA Easter egg hunt. We had fun playing on the playground, hunting eggs, seeing the rabbits in the petting zoo, and riding the horse! Caleb and Caroline were so excited to look through all of their eggs! Brett and I decided to get the kids a play set for the backyard and Brett has worked soooo hard getting it all put up! Saturday, June 11, 2011. This weekend was Caroline's dance recital. Yesterday afternoon she had dress rehearsal and then at noon today she had her recital. She woke up so excited about it this morning and couldn't wait to get dressed and go! Her studio performed the ballet, The Toy Makers Daughter, and it was really good. Wednesday, September 15, 2010. We went to Fort Lauderdale in early August. Hailey and Houston both preferred the pool, but we played at the beach too! Asleep on the plane on the way back home! Friday, February 26, 2010. Thursday, February 11, 2010. Today we had more snow in DFW than ever recorded in one calendar day. I think it is up to almost 8 inches right now and it is still snowing as I type this. Thankfully Jeff was working at home today so Hailey got to get a lot of play time out in the snow! Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Houston is 5 months old today.time is flying by! He is so happy and is getting more personality every day! Sunday, November 8, 2009. Hailey has been interested in all the leaves falling and wanting to play in them. Today she and Jeff raked a big pile of leaves and played - she had a blast! Reflections of our days. Well, here it is! The start to a whole new era of communication. For the wife of a computer guru it's rather comical how behind I am technologically. Dave and I still laugh about how cool we thought we were in high school with our pagers- sending 'I love you' messages with the numbers. And although I would rather hold on the simpler, sweeter days of handwritten letters and cards instead of texting. Somewhere after that the journaling. Started getting more and more sparse. Wee...
