I have heard stories all my life of how godly men and women spent hours in prayer and study, seeking God's face. I used to always beat myself up about my devotional life. or lack thereof. I was so amazed at these seemingly super-disciplined saints. How does one have such a devotional life? Discipline may have something to do with it. But I think it is more about desperation for me. Find your cave and meet with God.

Jan 10, 2012. More Than Goosebumps: Myths About Revival. Common myths about revival:. We can make it happen. Question: What can a man in a coma do? Answer: Nothing. If the church is asleep (and it is) then God is the only one who can wake us up. Jesus said, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.” (John 6:44). Jesus is talking about salvation here, but I think the same is true in revival. He’s got to do the calling before we can answer the call. Will you let God revive you?

What a tough question. I think back to when I was in high school and I knew little to nothing about accessing health care or the health care system itself. I’m very thankful that I never had to worry about either of these issues as well. The relationship between health care and the people who are making the decisions.
