How does the narrator decide where the story begins and where it ends? What happens to the narrator when the story is over? Chuck Palahniuk's writing is identical to Amy Hempel's. Their sentence structure, it's identical. Hemingway's sentences are like freight trains that run on straight and true and then all you have left are the rivers you've fished.
