Saturday, April 30, 2005. This is actually the first frame of a video I shot of a guy launching. It seemed like he was a beginner, because he got a lot of coaching. Basically the paragliders lay out their parachute, make sure all of the strings are untangled, and then run off the edge of the mountain. Posted by AKP at 7:31 AM. Friday, April 29, 2005. http://peltonen.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 27, 2005. The unspeakable has happened. I lost my camera. I'm almost sure I left it at The Purple Cafe after my graduation dinner, but they claim to have not found a camera. I'm really sad! So, no more posts until I get a replacement, I guess. Posted by AKP at 3:05 PM. Wednesday, June 08, 2005. This beach is literally only three houses from my sister's apartment. I don't know what I was thinking going to school in the Northeast when I could have lived on the beach in San Diego! Startup, by J...

Wednesday, November 30, 2005. It was recently Mark's 24th birthday (in chair), so some of us took the opportunity to sing and celebrate. For the first time ever, I feel old at work. With one exception, I'm over 5 years older than everyone in this picture, which is pretty representative of the general GMI employee base. Posted by AKP at 9:57 PM. Monday, November 28, 2005. They say you can find anything in New York.I guess this proves true, as Mary has found a creamery named after herself! The outside of M...

Thursday, July 28, 2005. With such a good excuse, I never had class with Mrs. Gear again (or any typing class, for that matter). So, he gave me my $7.50 for the time I spent there and sent me on my way. D’oh! Posted by AKP at 3:34 PM. Thursday, July 21, 2005. Monday, September 19, 2005. And the little guy was even nice enough to pose for a portrait. Posted by AKP at 7:59 PM. My aunt Phyllis and I hung back while my parents hiked up the snow-covered trail and the rest of our group followed Stu to the top of the waterfall. To our surprise, this creature decided to hang out with us! Posted by AKP at 7:56 PM. Sunday, September 18, 2005. My step-grandfather Stu refuses to admit his age. You can see him here leading all the "kids" up to the top of this waterfall.
