Seriously cold weather found us, one degree above zero, nippy even for me. By the afternoon of the one-degree day, bright sun, rarified air, I felt jazzed, even syncopated with the arctic blast, and in my imagination hoped a sled with a team of Siberian Huskys and Malamutes would magically appear and ask me to join them.
