Walking in word and pictures. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Author Archives: Stuart Triratna. A walker and observer of people and nature. Started a Buddhist meditation group in the Thames Valley. South West Coastal path. Today was shorter as I had failed to check out the details of the ferries across the Fal estuary. There are two and one had finished for the winter, sigh! A lot of this part of the world closes down in October to reopen at Easter, I wish I could. And on to Portmellon.

Walking in word and pictures. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Monthly Archives: October 2012. Back in the UK. Back in sunny UK! Actually coming off the plane at Heathrow the cold on Sunday night was strangely pleasant- I am sure that I will get over it and complain about the weather like a proper Englishman. The icing on the cake was the welcome home poster Stephanie had made. Awww gawsh ;- ). Bodh Gaya – mindblowing. The room us clean and tidy but the monastery is a building site.

Walking in word and pictures. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Newer posts →. Beginning to lose track of Time! Today our delightful yoga teacher asked me to lead a Buddhist chat, the refuges and precepts. Then a group of us went down to the lake and swam across to an island where we found this beautiful bug (hemiptera ) Can you identify this for me? Tomorrow is our trip to McLoudganj and Dharamsala maybe to catch sight of the Dalai Llama. Day three – the day of the lotus eaters. Then a...

Walking in word and pictures. Skip to primary content. South West Coastal Path – Walkies! I am on my way down to Cornwall (Kernow ) to spend the weekend walking along the sublime Cornish coast. Dear First Great Western are delivering me 18 minutes late after a 5 hour journey. Firstly how is it that in such a small country our train journeys take so long! Secondly why is it that I travel by rail expecting. All that aside Walkies at the coast will will give me a much needed boost. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Walking on the Isle of Man – Sixty Walks around the Island. Walking on the Isle of Man – sixty walks around the Isle of Man. El Camino Norte via Primativo. April 15, 2015. Day five, what a difference a good night sleep makes! The Walking Man

Sunday, April 30, 2006. Aquinas and his Effect on Art. I have started reading Francis Schaeffer's "Escape from Reason." In this book, he seeks to analyze modern culture (208).
