Wednesday, March 31, 2010. How did the events of the Civil War affect individuals? There are many events in the Civil War that affected the people during this time. One way that they were affected was that they lost their family and their friends. They had to deal with massive amounts of stress and depression. They also had to deal with their homeland getting destroyed. The soldiers were affected by all of the killing being done around them and not getting to see their families. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Discuss the concept: "there can be no freedom without education.". I agree with what youre saying here. It is true that we would be stuck doing unwanted things to survive with out an education. Well said(:. April 22, 2010 at 11:17 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). April 20th 2010 #2. Quote of the day :). Those that never made a mistake, had never tried new things. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. How did the events of the Civil War affect individuals? One of the causes of the Civil War was the issue of states' rights, or the right for states to determine their own laws (but not violate federal laws). While secession was an extreme response to the issue of states' rights, are there any political issues today that could spark a strong response by the states to federal mandates.
