Enchanted Blue Planet: May 2014
http://enchantedblueplanet.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Creativity, a way of being. An overcast morning here, and cool enough for the furnace to come on. Still, I'm grateful for a long spring, happy to wait for the heat that give's Kentville its nickname of "Hell's Kitchen". Little did we know when we moved here that the Annapolis Valley retains the heat like a stainless steel bowl. A sunny morning the other day made for some fun shots through the Venetian blinds. Here Babu is still enough for a reasonable shot. And later, a schnoozie.

Enchanted Blue Planet: summer of 1,ooo dreams
http://enchantedblueplanet.blogspot.com/2015/08/summer-of-1ooo-dreams.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Summer of 1,ooo dreams. Sometimes I just can't pull the rabbit out of my hat. Creativity can be so elusive as life demands so much attention to other things. Ultimately it is the sweet space between "reality" and the Infinite in which a painting takes place. That is where it's almost like channelling cosmic energy. Talent is a mixed blessing and too much or too little technique can render a picture lifeless. Summer of 1,000 Dreams (graphite pencil and watercolour). Here are we,.

Enchanted Blue Planet: October 2014
http://enchantedblueplanet.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 27, 2014. There's enough time for:. A cool damp start to our week here after many days of rain. Yes, dreary but as I said to Wally yesterday when we headed out in the car and he was feeling somewhat overwhelmed by it all,. We could sing a song. That made him smile. So I sang. He's the only one who likes my singing, bless him, and he smiled some more. That made me happy. Spread a little love today and see what you reap. Posted by Enchanted Blue Planet. Enchanted Blue Planet: May 2015
http://enchantedblueplanet.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2015. At 7 this morning, I couldn't see across the field, but an hour later:. The day unfolded,. Our little peach tree, set near the corner, is still wrapped in a stocking of white spiralled plastic. The lilacs bloom alongside the roofed exit to the walkout basement,. The Japanese Maple's bandaged branches have healed and it looks very happy. Forget-Me-Nots create a blue border beyond. Muji wonders what I am doing, those pale aqua eyes want to know. Protocol for the cataracts in my eyes h...

Enchanted Blue Planet: February 2015
http://enchantedblueplanet.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 15, 2015. Well, I guess the timing couldn't be better: post Valentine's Day, post Saturday night, with a Sunday and a national holiday tomorrow, we finally got a snowstorm worth writing about. It started early this morning and built quickly. You can barely see the street beyond our ash tree sentinel, the hedge almost buried. Wally had to work this morning though it seemed preposterous for anyone to be out. Beautiful Muji came to keep me company on the stairs, our best vantage point.

Enchanted Blue Planet: June 2014
http://enchantedblueplanet.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 30, 2014. The last day of June. How odd that it should come and go, like every moment, so quickly. The only way to savour it is to be intentionally present. The summer heat has finally struck. It will be a good day to stay in. This kind of heat is like a blizzard to me. The best excuse to ensconce myself in the studio and make something new. And glued and drew. And then I turned the forget-me-not around and so liked its abstract form that I glued it face down. And drew the bunny above. Sprin...

Enchanted Blue Planet: wildflower walk around the hayfield
http://enchantedblueplanet.blogspot.com/2015/07/wildflower-walk-around-hayfield.html
Saturday, July 25, 2015. Wildflower walk around the hayfield. I'm so grateful today as I write this. On Monday I fell against the kitchen counter, my foot asleep, and slammed my arm and wrist, saving myself from a complete fall. I twisted my ankle, barely saving it from a fracture. Ouch! I got my foot up, slatherered in Arnica cream, and then remembered to put on a bandage with castor oil, both old-time healers. Muji is more concerned about being cuddled than my foot, believe me. And these cinque foile.

Enchanted Blue Planet: rainy afternoon
http://enchantedblueplanet.blogspot.com/2015/07/greetings-from-rainy-afternoon.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Greetings from a rainy afternoon. It's been threatening rain for a week now with barely a drizzle so I thought I'd hang some laundry to dry, and of course, it rains! Wasn't I the sight running out to gather two pairs of jeans. I left the socks and underwear on the line as it was raining so hard, hoping to come out later to rehang the jeans, but still it rains. I wonder if the rainwater will have any softening effect on the laundry out there. Talking on the phone with Leona". Desi ...

Enchanted Blue Planet: November 2014
http://enchantedblueplanet.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 28, 2014. Welcome back. I guess to me too. Sorry to have been away so long. The weather has been a dominant character around these parts. Between hurricane force winds and a day this week that was like a balmy summer day, perfect for some yard work and hanging the laundry, the snow has only just dusted us this morning. It promises to be a sunny weekend. With all my good intentions I haven't that new piece of work I've been meaning to show you. Muji in the morning. Wally is just home from...
