A Day in the Life....: And then it was Spring!
http://shannonknapp.blogspot.com/2015/05/and-then-it-was-spring.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2015. And then it was Spring! The apple trees are in full bloom, promising a nice crop this year. The calf crop has started arriving, new life full of excitement - anxious to check out every little thing! The tulip (yes, I have just one) has bloomed. The allium is close and the Peonies have buds! Wonderful, beautiful reminders of beginnings. I love Spring. My allergies. well, they would prefer I enjoy the view from inside. And enjoy blooms and calves and even weeding. M'Lynn is home wor...

A Day in the Life....: Truly, it is time for SPRING!!
http://shannonknapp.blogspot.com/2014/04/truly-it-is-time-for-spring.html
Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Truly, it is time for SPRING! Here they are again, my personal harbinger of Spring. Love this Pussy Willow tree! Even though our temps are below normal and there are piles of snow here and there, this gives me the assurance we'll see green and lovely again! Oh the joys of a 20 year sort! I think, going forward, all of us will be more inclined to really analyse the importance of a "thing" down the road. Perhaps a photo to capture the moment or accomplishment would suffice? And wh...

A Day in the Life....: October 2011
http://shannonknapp.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 6, 2011. My very best friend reminded me. again. it's the little things. So where is the connection here? The little things and Lyme Funk? It turned out good. Not great. Not picture-worthy. But tasty and presentable. The highlight was her excitement, and gratitude. Her original comment about her birthday was "let's skip it, I can't eat anything anyway". I don't know if the recipe success will re-ignite my cooking fires, but making her day sure made mine. Prep Time: 20 minutes. God put m...

A Day in the Life....: September 2011
http://shannonknapp.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 16, 2011. We had a hard frost the other night. *Snap* Summer is at an end! School starting was probably a hint, but the weather was still so nice I could stay in denial a little bit! In cool stuff, but in the end? Yep, it all comes down to personal relationships. Huh. Some things don't change much as you grow up, do they? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). God put me on the planet to be a Mom and a partner. That's the beginning and middle and end of what motivates me to do and be what I am.

A Day in the Life....
http://shannonknapp.blogspot.com/2014/06/oh-goodness-i-do-love-watching-baby.html
Friday, June 20, 2014. Oh, Goodness, I do love watching the baby calves! We have five more expectant mothers to go and we will be done for the year. My Hubby will be done watching the cameras through the night when one of our cows is "close". The girls will be done watching new mommas to make sure all is well with their milk supply. Oh, and that all of the after-birth things happen correctly with no infection. So many big and small steps and tasks that we do without thought. And we love it. Truly. Sore m...

A Day in the Life....: January 2012
http://shannonknapp.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Born January 30, 2012. 10:30-something in the morning. 7 lb 1 oz. Happily welcomed by my sister, Stacy, her hubby Kai and big sister Raelynn. Aunt Shannon missed delivery day by, oh, 24 hours. but very glad to have spent the weekend with Stacy and help with a few projects to reduce that huge 'to do' list that comes with 3rd trimester nesting! So happy that the birth went well - and very quickly - and everyone is feeling good! What a joyous occasion! Now, when can I go visit?

http://shannonknapp.blogspot.com/2014/07/happy-momma-moments.html
Tuesday, July 8, 2014. May and June were pretty awesome. and I haven't taken time to share. Here you go - in no particular order! Kind of a rare event to have all four of them at home at once these days. this was FUN! Happy Birthday, Mom! She and Stacy had a very successful shopping trip! Hanging out watching the Lake. Peace. This is where I go in my mind when I need a Calgon moment. Alecia and M'Lynn enjoyed some relaxation as much as Mom. I'll spare you the details. Just know the kids did awesome.

A Day in the Life....
http://shannonknapp.blogspot.com/2015/01/we-are-at-final-week-of-january.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2015. We are at the final week of January. How did this happen? And is the year off to the start you were wanting? I honestly could not have asked for a more glorious start to a year. A road trip with three incredible women to a beautiful house right on the white sandy beaches of Destin FL. Who's life is this? This is truly the view from where I laid my head for a whole week. 2015 Norwex Leadership Conference. Road Warriors. Love them. And some highlights from Conference. This is wha...
