Speaking of which I saw a Maori Wrase when I was diving yesterday, they are those huge dopey looking fish with a lumpy head, I also saw a huge giant turtle and followed him around for ages. I've been living in Claire and Maura's old apartment in the Hip and trendy part of town Surry Hills, it's a perfect locale with all the best ethnic restaurants in Sydney just a stones throw from my doorstep. We made our way back along the coast on sunday shaking our heads to David gray and smiling at what a great weekend it was. We arrived just on time to see the end of the Irish match against Argentina, a win that sees us through to the quarter finals of the world cup. Book 2 of isobels journey. Wednesday, July 30, 2003. So I'm still in Queenstown and getting better at the snowboarding, my knees are purple though, brings back wonderful memories of Lapland when I first tried to maim myself on the skisloaps. The journey continues but the pace slows down and the money runs out! Monday, November 17, 2003. Tomorrow I enter back into the ranks of the unemployed again and resume the life of the backpacker. Hopefully it won't be long before I get another job, in the meantime I'll spend some time on the beach.
