The Unicorn's Hoof: September 2012
http://theunicornshoof.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
I have always wanted to use this title. Now, it represents my ramblings which may include knitting, vacation pictures, sewing, cats, unicorns, or whatever catches my interest. Sunday, September 9, 2012. Yarn Crawl or House Work. The choice this weekend was go check some yarn shops participating the Yarn Crawl along the Rockies or help clean the house. I am sure you can guess what the choice end up being. It would have been cheaper to stay out at home. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

I have always wanted to use this title. Now, it represents my ramblings which may include knitting, vacation pictures, sewing, cats, unicorns, or whatever catches my interest. Friday, March 16, 2012. For Christmas, my DH gave a gift certificate since he couldn't find a spin control card or a fiber sphere. He really did try to find them locally. Still no spin control card or fiber sphere. Maybe, they will show up somewhere if I stop looking for them. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Gromit Knits!: Disingenuous
http://gromitknits.typepad.com/gromit_knits/2008/06/disingenuous.html
Breaking News ». June 03, 2008. But while I was disingenuous about the original deadline, I didn't think I was that far off. I estimated I'd needed another week at most. Hardly. I sewed the last seam yesterday - June 2nd - two weeks late. Never having actually made a hoodie before, I didn't count on the size of that damn hood. It's huge, look at it:. Texas has nothing on that hood. You could fit the moon in that hood. Then the edging. She's lucky I'm done in the same year as her birthday. In my last post...

Curvaceous Tempting Knit-A-Long
http://temptingcurves.blogspot.com/2005/05/i-finished-tempting-today-i-used.html
Wednesday, May 04, 2005. I finished Tempting today! I used the recommended needles, and got on gauge with GGH Samoa. I started on April 23rd, and finished today. I liked the three needle bind off-someone said it'd be a welcome break to the ribbing, and they were right. I used the striping instructions given here. Posted by Unknown at 7:01 PM. Http:/ zarzuela.blogspot.com. It looks great. And thanks for sharing your finishing advice. That is so adorable! Im about eight inches into the body of Tempting r.

Curvaceous Tempting Knit-A-Long: Improved Eyelets and Large Size Changes
http://temptingcurves.blogspot.com/2005/07/improved-eyelets-and-large-size.html
Monday, July 25, 2005. Improved Eyelets and Large Size Changes. I made a ragland version of Tempting. For my DD. While making it, I was also making eyelet-ribbing socks, and the perfect eyelet pattern for Tempting dawned on me. K2, YO, P2-tog, K2, P2-tog, YO* Repeat. If you make the large size, your eyelet pattern will be offset by 4 sts. For some reason, all the other sizes have a multiple of 8 sts, except the large. I'd rewrite the large size as follows:. Join Sleeves to Body. Posted by Mei at 4:55 PM.

http://temptingcurves.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 25, 2005. Seems like everyone is talking about modifying the original pattern. Personally, I'm keen on the 3/4 sleeves. I'm also going to bring the neck up and use decreases and seams to create a boat neck. What are you hoping to do? Posted by Sarah at 3:30 PM. Wednesday, March 23, 2005. This knit-a-long started in the Curvaceous Knit. Posted by Sarah at 10:56 AM. April 15, 2005. Improved Eyelets and Large Size Changes. Mines coming slowly, but its still coming. Tempting Still Isnt Done.

Gromit Knits!: A Case of Mistaken Identity
http://gromitknits.typepad.com/gromit_knits/2008/12/a-case-of-mistaken-identity.html
Laquo; Weekend Update. Belated New Year ». December 03, 2008. A Case of Mistaken Identity. Yes, I deluded myself into thinking I could pull off a Marina. 0160; Silly of me. In promising to complete Rona by Thanksgiving I forgot several key facts:. I had a lot more to knit than I admitted to myself: being done with the body is less than half the battle. Sleeves are a big job and no matter how you slice it, knitting narrow tubes with color changes is fiddly. Marina was good enough to give me several ext...
