This weekend was the church campout. i swam in the lake 'my mother always told me' (well, sometimes mothers should just shut up! O o ) was full of sewage, leeches and lice; shucked some (evidently poisonous to eat) freshwater clams(? It was a big adventure for both of us. it was awesome! Then approx (lacking specific twists and turns of the trail and beach) 2.3 miles or 3.7 km around ferry island. Then 3 miles or 4.8 kilometers to a friend's house. Tonight went to a friend's house to watch a movie. biked there and back - 4.56 miles, or 7.35km. A couple days ago walked ferry island campsites with a friend, leaving from my house - 3.5miles, or 5.6km. I would have walked home too, but it was already getting too late for comfort. :). Yesterday i walked to home group, about 3.2 miles or 5.2 km. which included going up lanfear hill. and didn't stop once on the hill (albeit i paused long enough to stretch my hip that was aching a bit, maybe 20 seconds. and i paused just long enough to get my phone out of my bag when it rang). When i got to home group, deb said i didn't even look tired - i looked 'fresh'!
