Backpacker, hiker, rambler. If you’re interested in the CT, read P-Mags Quick and Dirty Guide. Asically it’s almost 500 miles from Denver to Durango, between 5,000 and 13,000′ (averaging above 10k though) and a scenic quickie thru. I’m psyched. With worldwide crazy weather, I expect some late-season snowstorms to make up for this low snow year. As things look now, my start date is about June 23 and finish date before August. Thursday, November 24, 2011. Life after the PCT in Santa Fe. I completed my thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail (2,650 mi from Mexico to Canada) on Oct. 10, 2011. Just received my medal! More on my PCT hike blog. I moved into a live/work art studio in Santa Fe on Nov 1. I took a job as scenic carpenter for the Santa Fe Opera and began Nov. 21.
