There was a "grande freddo" and Bologna received several inches of snow. Yesterday the sun came out and is still shining. Bologna typically doesn't get very much snow in the winter and is known for being overcast, so these last few days have been odd. The picture of the street was taken right outside of my apartment building.

Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Here are some of Sarah and I's Sydney highlights, thus far. Our first weekend out in the "city," Sarah and I landed in the one and only casino in Sydney. and stayed until 5am! But the real winnings were that the cab driver only charged us $25 to get home! I went on a firefighters yacht cruise. complete with a rickety old boat, wood paneled interior, and cheesy dance music. wait a minute. did I say yacht?
