A Wandering Marsupial
Travels throughout the World. Wednesday, December 5, 2007. Things about Danes before I forget. Danes wait for traffic signals always, if you j-walk you get some nasty scowls. Danes ride bikes in HighHeels. Danish food is the stuff i grew up with, meat and potatos. Enjoy this collection of things that I like. Was reminded the other day of a particular piece of advice from an old Ira Glass interview. While digging around for the interview, I found this excellent video showcasing the exact part I had been thinking of. Sometimes, the only caption you need is…. Life is a game. This is your strategy guide. Because by the time most of us have figured life out, we’ve used up too much of the best parts. Fascinating read on the roots of Sweden’s pop music prowess. Avoid mak...

Wandering Maureen | "Not all those who wander are lost."
Not all those who wander are lost. Sooo, what’s next? I’m okay with it. I heard you. You think university is the next step, right? 80% of freshly graduated college students walk into their new job on their first day, communications degree and 5 years of higher education under their belt, and still have to have time and resources spent on being trained their first few weeks.
