Tuesday, August 25, 2009. First Official Rotary Meeting - Banchory Club. The last time I wrote, we were getting ready for our first official Rotary Meeting and presentation. The Banchory. Rotary Club meets at the Burnett Arms Hotel (remember the name Burnett). Mike and I sat at President Jim's table - what a privilege! We visited while enjoying a "wee dram" when we arrived at home. No trouble sleeping again. Castle sits at the point where three Scottish rivers meet; the Feugh. Century the Burnett of Leys.

Saturday, August 29, 2009. Inverurie - Our Last Stop. Friday morning was a "sleep late" (8:00am) day for us. Our first stop was at the Thainstane. Cattle Market in Inverurie. This was an education watching the sheep and cattle being auctioned. And of course, the poor animals had no idea what was going on. We traveled to Lochter. Trout fishery where we had lunch. They have ponds stocked for fishing - one in the shape of a trout (if viewed from the air). Our next stop was Fraserburgh. Of Prey (Harris Hawks...
