Wandering Still: September 2012
http://wanderingstill.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Here, though I'd rather be there. Making the most of what here brings me. Thursday, September 27, 2012. In My Heart On Thursday (Opportunity). Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? As quoted on Latter-day Homeschooling. Posted by Michelle H. In My Heart On Thursday. Promptings of the Holy Ghost.

Here, though I'd rather be there. Making the most of what here brings me. Sunday, April 14, 2013. To Everything There is a Season. My last post was full of enthusiasm and mystery as my husband had embarked down the path of interviewing for an exciting new job. This long later, we finally know that he did not get that job. But we are not downtrodden! I hope you'll follow me! For the continuation of my journey! Posted by Michelle H. 171; Older Posts. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Here, though I'd rather be there. Making the most of what here brings me. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. In My Heart On Thursday (Dreams). Everyone has an official wish list of things they think are "reasonable". What about the unofficial wish list? The one that common sense tells you to ignore? The list that exists deep in your mind, the list that keeps you up at night, that makes your toes wiggle when you think of it? Why not choose that list for a change? First Rule of Success: Be Decisive. A href=̶...

Here, though I'd rather be there. Making the most of what here brings me. Tuesday, December 18, 2012. And Then Life Takes a Turn. I've been teasing you with a promised post on Christmas ornaments for a few weeks, and I promise I did start writing it today. But then I got an email about a job opening that would be so PERFECT for my husband and I got completely carried away and Christmas ornaments just don't sound that interesting anymore. What's the job, you're asking? What would the job mean for me?

The Sol Three: Resolutions
http://robinandreneesol.blogspot.com/2013/01/resolutions.html
Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Are you really ready? I asked myself that question before I had Jada and I told myself over and over that yes, I wanted to lose the weight.right after I finish my plate of nachos and that giant margarita I just ordered with my friends! 1) Acknowledge that it's going to be HARD. Really hard. Probably harder than most anything you've ever done. And then get over it! 2) Make it easy on yourself! 3) Make it work for you. 4) Make a plan. I was over the moon excited! Look, I'm never g...

Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Nearly A Year Gone! Our baby is counting! It's the little things. She screams this at me nearly all the time. "MOMMA! When I finally answered, she smiled, pointed down, and said, "Momma, I fawted! I thought I would die of embarrassment She has NEVER done that before, let alone in front of company! I'll bet you can guess what things she's getting for Christmas, too! 4) I love you! 5) A, B, C. She can sing her alphabet! She gets hung up around H, I, J but typically comes back in ...

Eating the Nibbly Bibs: December 2011
http://eatingthenibblybibs.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Notes: Teaching Your Children Joy. Wednesday, December 21, 2011. As much I dislike cold weather, I love to celebrate the winter solstice. Why? Starting tomorrow the days are getting longer and it's only a short 6 months until my favorite holiday, the summer solstice, is here again. Today to commemorate the summer solstice, Beck and I did some fun winter activities. We watched this time-lapse video of the shortest day in Fairbanks, Alaska. I wrote more about the solstice. On my other blog Wandering Still.

Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Football Season is FINALLY Over! My football team may have lost the Super Bowl but we sure did get a cute 32 week picture out of the deal! You likely already know that I don't care much for or about football but I do like the Steelers. I don't watch them much but I've been a fan since I was little. That was my Uncle Rod's fault! He's a HUGE Steelers fan! We love the Steelers! 32 weeks and this jersey makes Mommy look gimundus! Our weekend was full of baby time which I thoroughl...

Have A Look Around. Me and Who's On the Road With Me. Share Your Local Wander! Road-Trip Ramblings #3: Songs for Driving. I've realized while driving over the past two weeks that I have three specific go-to songs when the road keeps stretching on and on and the in-car company has exhausted all things interesting to talk about. No, not tunes that I punch up on my playlist. These are coming straight out of my mouth, often for entire verses before I realize I've started singing. They are:. Links to this post.
The Sol Three: November 2011

Wednesday, November 9, 2011. In case we were ever in doubt as to who Jada takes after, I present evidence #1. Note they are laying EXACTLY the same way and no, we didn't position her this way! Jada mastered holding her own bottle this week so now I get her up while I'm getting ready in the morning. She eats and watches me do girly things and I get the chance to spend even more time with her. I'm so glad we've reached this point! Okay, she didn't learn this, she's just stinkin' cute! I DIE for this smile!
The Sol Three: December 2010
http://robinandreneesol.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Christmas has come and gone which means it's now time to pack up the decorations and pray that this short week goes just as quickly as 2010! That night the four of us (Mom, Dad, Robin and I) went to Altoona (local city) to have dinner. It was an interesting time. Robin was of course absorbed in football. Dad was his usual clumsy self and spilled an entire beer, barely missing Mom's lap. Mom and I attempted conversation.until the food came! What can I say? After lunch, we wal...

Travel Updates
Friday, October 8, 2010. That last line in the last post was all part of our plot to keep our parents clueless about our surprise arrival today! And clueless they were. Shocked, confused, and overjoyed. Brian, Kate, and Aria picked us up from the airport to take us home. It's a good and long-awaited day. The travels have left us relishing memories and experiences. We are satisfied and ready to be home. So, thus ends the blog. Thanks for reading and keeping in touch. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Through ru...

MONGOLIA: Land of Blue Heaven. The blue skies of Mongolia have a deep and powerful meaning to the Mongols who still worship 'Munkh Khukh Tenger' the Eternal Blue Sky, Heaven above. Mongolia remains a destination like no other: a land of few roads, no fences, epic landscapes and remarkable light; still true to its nomadic roots. Untamed adventure awaits in Mongolia; journey into the wilderness on horse-back or trekking on foot. Meet nomad's on the trail off to cut hay for the winter or migrating camps...

Wanderings Through Grant Land
Wanderings Through Grant Land. 2016 Republican candidates on higher education and top grant funders. I have also included some candidate’s opinions on grant-funding institutions, such as Department of Ed and NSF, and how they view climate change, which might affect funds from the EPA. The odds are pretty good that you will not hear higher education as a main focus of the debate, but here’s hoping! At any rate, the below may give you some idea on where candidates stand. Jeb Bush, Former Governor of Florida.

On the road since November 2005, lots of time to think, lots of lessons learned in these 200,000 fascinating miles. This eclectic blog provides therapy for me and hopefully food for thought for my cyber-readers. Thanks for joining me! Monday, July 13, 2015. I Can Have Fun Doing What I Do! People always ask me how I can stand the hardships of my work. They're not talking about my life in Tillie2, my little motorhome, although on these hot summer days I'd welcome their cooling compassion! The campers accep...

My blog about knitting, teaching, and being a mother to two energetic young boys. Thursday, October 14, 2010. I've been meaning to share this for awhile, but school, family, and my new doggie have taken precedence over blogging. Will you ever forgive me? For today's post I get to share my first ever test knitting project. Michele Bernstein aka " PDXKnitterati. Was looking for knitters to test her "Pacific Shawl" pattern. I so love Michele's designs that I asked if I could give it a try. Of course - beadi...
